For the first time, the Gehlot government, surrounded by charges of appeasement, will recite Ramayana on Ramnavami and Sundarkand on Hanuman Jayanti in temples. The Devasthan Department has issued orders in this regard. The commissioner of the department, Karan Singh has asked the assistant commissioners of all the districts to list two temples under the direct charge of the districts, where Ramayana and Sunderkand can be recited. Necessary arrangements have been made in these temples for recitation of Ramayana on 10th April tomorrow and Sundarkand on Hanuman Jayanti on 16th April.

In fact, amidst the communal harmony in Karauli and Section-144 imposed in many districts, the Gehlot government has decided to recite Ramayana and Sundarkand across the state. Under this, the government will recite Ramayana on Ramnavami and Sundarkand on Hanuman Jayanti. For this, the government has sought a list of two temples each from the Devasthan Department of all the districts, where lessons will be conducted. Instructions have also been given by the Devasthan Department to make necessary arrangements for this.

For the first time such an event

On the occasion of Mahashivratri in the first week of March, Bhagwat Katha was organized by the Devasthan Department in two temples of Jaipur on behalf of the Devasthan Department of the Government. Earlier, the recitation of Bhagwat Geeta was also done. Now the recitation of Ramayana and Sunderkand will also be done by the department. In this regard, the Commissioner of Devasthan Department, Karan Singh has sought a list of two government-owned temples from the co-commissioners of all the divisions. Ramayana will be organized on 10 April on the day of Ram Navami and on 16 April Hanuman Jayanti recitation of Sundarkand will be organized.

budget not released

Let us tell you that the department of Devasthan has been formed since many years ago, but such religious stories were never organized publicly by the department. This is the first time such an initiative is being taken by the department. On the other hand, the commissioner of the department, Karan Singh, issued orders for the recitation, but the budget has not yet been released by the department.

Department officials contacting donors

According to the information, many temples owned by the government are in rural areas. Offerings in these temples are also nominal. In such a situation, the officers of the department will have to get their level lessons done. For this reason, the officers of the Devasthan Department are contacting the donors and trust operators so that the recitation of Ramayana and Sunderkand can be organized in the temples. Posters and hoardings will also have to be put up before the event. According to the organizers of religious events, at least 20-25 thousand rupees will be spent in an event.
