Realme confirmed the launch of the Realme 3 Pro in April. The company aims to take on Redmi Note 7 Pro with the Realme 3 Pro. The Realme 2 Pro was launched last year with a Snapdragon 660 chipset. The company is aiming to take of the new Redmi Note 7 Pro with the upcoming Realme 3 Pro. Realme 3 Pro will be big on power much like the Realme 2 Pro. The Realme 3 Pro comes out with a similar if not better chipset.

Beyond the name drop and launch announcement, Realme did not provide any details on the Realme 3 Pro. Rumours about the phone do little to give us a clear picture of what the Realme 3 Pro will look like, or the kind of hardware it will pack. Suffice it to say that as a Pro model, the Realme 3 Pro will be big on power much like the Realme 2 Pro. The company is also teasing the launch with the tagline "Speed Awakens," which puts an emphasis on performance.

To recall, the Realme 2 Pro was launched last year with a Snapdragon 660 chipset. It was notably the cheapest phone at the time to offer a Snapdragon 660 processor as well as a dewdrop display. The Realme 2 Pro is still the company's most powerful smartphone, that is until the Realme 3 Pro comes out with a similar if not better chipset.
