Redmi Go is Xiaomi's first Android Go smartphone. It runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) and is powered by a Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Xiaomi's first Android Go smartphone is all set to be launched in India. The Redmi Go will be launched on 19 March in Delhi. Redmi Go will support for over 20 regional languages. Redmi Go offers a 5-inch display resolution of 720x1280, pixel is 296ppi.

The Redmi Go offers a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280. This gives it an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a pixel density of 296ppi. The display doesn't have any notch to accommodate the front-facing camera.

The Redmi Go is powered by Qualcomm's entry-level Snapdragon 425 processor paired with a gigabyte of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android Oreo 8.1 based on Android's Go platform which is a lightweight and stripped down version of the regular Oreo operating system.

The Redmi Go will also offer Google Assistant in Hindi, with support for over 20 regional languages.

The Redmi Go is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, which is claimed to provide a standby time of 10 days. It also packs an 8MP rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. The front of the smartphone will have a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture with support for HDR and beauty filters.
