Besides, these two soccer players, Indian cricketer had a following of 42 million. Cristiano not only defeats Barcelona striker in terms of his fan following but also Instagram celebrity star Kendall Jenner.

Now, if we have a look at their earnings, Portugal striker has earned a sum of USD 975k per post in his last 34 sponsored posts. Then comes Argentine striker who earned a revenue of USD 648k per post in his last 36 posts. It has been confirmed that out of the top 10 earners in the world are sportspersons and players like David Beckham, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic make their way into this elite list.

Virat Kohli stands on the 11th position in this list. He has an earning USD 196k per post. He earned an amount of total of USD 1.18 million from Instagram in the last one year. The top earner Ronaldo is also known as the king of marketing. And it is an exceptional thing that he earns more from Instagram than he does get from football.

The Indian captain is one of the best batsmen across all the formats and has led his team to several accolades under his captaincy. This year Delhiite guided India to a Test series win in Australia. He is one of the biggest marketable profiles in India where advertisement companies want to place their money.
