Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt will share the screen space for the first in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah. The Kick actor is all thrilled to work with Alia as, in a recent interview, he was seen praising Alia's exceptional work in films. He also called Alia a godown of talent.

"See how she’s turned it around, from a student to now, it’s beautiful! And no one can take credit for her growth except Alia herself. Jo bhi bole humne usko banaya hai, is not to be believed. It’s Alia who has honed her talent," he told Mumbai Mirror.

He added, "A godown of talent will be meeting with a bundle of talent (Laughs) Actually there’s no talent here."

Salman, who will be working with Bhansali after almost two decades in Inshallah. The director-actor duo last worked together in the 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

The long time gap between their two projects together haven't disrupted their relationship. "Whenever he and I meet, there is this connect it’s just not an actor-director relationship. Just because he was working with other actors, it didn’t have to hamper or spoil our equation. I work with other directors too, so should he. Now, we will be collaborating on this very sweet love story," Salman said.

Though this time Salman expressed his eagerness to work with Alia Bhatt, the actress has been all excited to work with the Dabangg actor since the beginning.

The Highway actress, in fact, took to Twitter to state her happiness on bagging a film with Bhansali opposite Salman Khan.

She wrote on Twitter, "I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It's been a long wait."

In the past, netizens criticized Bhansali for pairing Alia with Salman together as the two have a age gap of 26 years. Previously, when Alia was asked about the same, she said, "Bhansali is a visionary. People are too quick to judge. There is a plan in place and a reason behind the [unusual] casting. I am thrilled to be working with Salman. Even I never thought this combination [working with Khan and Bhansali] is possible. It will be an intriguing journey and Salman is genuinely warm and kind. They are a magical duo together and I am blessed to be in it."
