Coronavirus India | The pace of the second wave of Corona has slowed down in India so far that speculations have started regarding the third wave. There is a possibility that by August the third wave of this epidemic may come, which will reach its peak by September. This has been estimated in a report prepared by State Bank of India.

SBI's "Covid-19: Race to the Finishing Line" research report states, "As per the current data, around 10,000 Covid-19 cases may be reported daily in India around the second week of July. However, the cases are as of August. May extend till the second fortnight." Let us tell you that the second wave peaked on May 7, when more than four lakh cases were reported.

Research has said that the estimates are based on trends. Global data shows that on average, peak cases reached during the third wave are about two or 1.7 times more than in the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Most experts are almost unanimous that there will be a third wave of corona in the country.

An SBI report published in June said that a possible third wave could be as severe as the second. However, it has also been said that the number of infections may be less due to the second wave.

The second wave of Kovid-19 in India was at its peak in April and May. The country witnessed a record number of daily infections and deaths due to coronavirus for several days during this period. During this, the country had to deal with oxygen crisis. However, due to restrictions imposed by the states and union territories, the daily cases have come down. Several states and union territories have now started unlocking amid a drop in daily cases.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), in the last 24 hours, 39,796 new cases were reported in India. During this 723 patients died. With this, the total cases increased to 30,585,229. Out of these, 29,700,430 people have defeated this epidemic.
