New Delhi: Former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi has once again reiterated that he stands with the agitating farmers. Today, on the occasion of completion of seven months of the farmers' movement, he expressed his support for the food donors by tweeting.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "Sidhi-sidhi hai - we are with the Satyagrahi Annadata." It is worth noting that the protesting farmers against the three new agricultural laws of the Center have been camping on the borders of Delhi since November 26 last year. They are demanding repeal of these three laws and a new law to guarantee the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of the crop.

Although the Central Government and the Union Agriculture Minister have made it clear on many occasions that they are ready to talk to the agitating farmers, but there is no question of withdrawing the three new agricultural laws. Several rounds of talks between farmers and the government over the impasse over these controversial laws have been fruitless.

Let us tell you that today, on the occasion of completion of seven months of farmers' movement, farmers have called a big movement across the country. Under this, the agitating farmers are submitting memorandums against the agricultural laws to the Governors of all the states and the Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories.
