Cheteshwar Pujara (9) and skipper Virat Kohli (14) are unbeaten. Kagiso Rabada took the wicket of Mayank Agarwal (7) and Marco Jensen took the wicket of KL Rahul (10). Team India got a lead of 13 runs on the basis of first innings. That is, India's total lead has become 70 runs.

South Africa's first innings was reduced to 210 runs in the third session of the day. Jasprit Bumrah took the highest five-wicket haul for India. Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Shami took 2 wickets each. Shardul Thakur took a wicket. Keegan Pietersen scored 72 runs for South Africa.

Bumrah took 5 wickets in the innings for the 7th time

Bumrah has taken five wickets in an innings for the seventh time in his Test career. He has achieved this feat for the second time against South Africa and for the fifth time in the SENA countries.

South Africa got 5 runs from penalty

When South Africa's score was 139, Cheteshwar Pujara dropped the catch of Bauma off Shardul Thakur. The ball then hit the helmet placed behind the wicketkeeper. Due to this South Africa got a penalty of 5 runs.

Virat completed 100 catches in Test

Virat Kohli has completed his 100 catches in Test cricket with the catch of Temba Bauma. Virat is playing the 99th Test of his career. Virat has become the sixth player from India to complete a century of catches in this format. Rahul Dravid is at the first position with 209 catches. VVS Laxman (135), Sachin Tendulkar (115), Sunil Gavaskar (108), Mohammad Azharuddin (105) took 100 catches in the first test from Virat.

Poor start for South Africa

The day did not start well for the African team. Jasprit Bumrah clean bowled Aiden Markram on the second ball of the first over. Markram got out after scoring 8 runs. After this, Umesh Yadav clean bowled Keshav Maharaj (25) to give India the third success. Team India was all out for just 223 runs on the first day.
