According to the report of news agency PTI, Bumrah has been out of the T20 World Cup due to back pain. Jasprit Bumrah will not leave for Australia with Team India. It has been claimed in the report that Jasprit Bumrah does not need surgery to get rid of back pain. But it is clear that Jasprit Bumrah will be away from the cricket field for 4 to 6 months.

Actually, Jasprit Bumrah got injured only after the England tour. After this Jasprit Bumrah could not even be a part of the Asia Cup and during this time he worked on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy. Bumrah returned to Team India for the T20 series against Australia. But only after playing two matches of the series, Bumrah got injured again.

Bumrah is the number one bowler

Team India captain Rohit Sharma had made it clear before the T20 match played against Africa that Bumrah was out of the match due to injury. After this, a fitness update was issued by the BCCI regarding Bumrah. It was revealed in this update that Bumrah suffered a back pain during the practice session.

Team India's chances of winning the World Cup have also suffered a major setback due to Bumrah's injury. Bumrah is India's number one bowler in this format and it will not be easy for the BCCI to find his replacement.
