India / T'gana COVID-19 tally crosses 1L with 2,474 new cases; Hyd reports 447

Hyderabad: In Telangana, the total number of COVID -19 cases reported so far crossed One Lakh mark with 2474 new COVID-19 cases reported during the past 24 hours. With a sudden spike in the new  cases, the total number of COVID cases reported in the state increased to one lakh one thousand 865. (1,01,865).

As per the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning, 1768 more COVDO -19 patients recovered and discharged from various hospitals in the state. With this the recovery rate has also gone up to 77.29 per cent and the total number of people recovered from COVID also gone up to 78 thousand 735.  Meanwhile, 7 more died yesterday due to COVID and other comorbidities taking the total COVID-19 toll to 744.

Meanwhile, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, where COVID-19 prevalence was more, reported 447 fresh cases during the past 24 hours while Rangareddy district reported over 200 new cases. Medchal Malkajgiri, Nizamabad, Khammam, Warangal Urban and Nalgonda districts reported over 100 new COVID cases each during the past 24 hours.
