Hyderabad: In Telangana, 978 new cases of COVID -19 have been reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up 2 lakh 31 thousand 252. The state conducted over 27 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate slightly improved to 91.01 per cent with 1446 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 10 thousand 480.Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total deaths rose to 1307 following 4 more people succumbing during the past 24 hours. Currently the state has over 19 thousand active cases out of which over 16 thousand are in home isolation.
