Jammu and Kashmir / Trader shot dead in Kashmir

A trader was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in north Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday.

Preliminary reports suggest that Abdul Majeed Shah, a trader, was fired upon outside his house at the Babagund area of Handwara in Kupwara district.

Police said the trader was critically injured and succumbed to his injuries. The gunmen managed to flee from the spot taking advantage of darkness.
