TRAI New Guidelines: There is big news for TV watching enthusiasts. If you also like watching TV, then before that you must know about the new guideline of TRAI. A new guideline has been issued by the India Telecom Regulatory Authority. TRAI has revised the new Tariff Order 2.0, which will affect crores of customers. What are the new rules?

Under the new rules, all channels priced at Rs 19 or less will be included in the bouquet. After this decision of TRAI, cable and DTH customers will get a lot of relief.

New rules will be applicable from 1 February 2023

According to the information received from TRAI, the new guideline will come into effect from 1 February 2023. Along with this, TRAI has said that all channels should ensure that after February 1, customers are provided services according to the channels or bouquets selected by them.

Changes will be reported

Along with this, TRAI has said that all broadcasters will report by December 16 about any change in their channel, channel's MRP and channel's bouquet structure.

Up to 45 percent discount will be available

Apart from this, TRAI has also said that while fixing the pricing of the bouquet, the broadcaster can give a maximum discount of up to 45 percent from the sum of the maximum retail price (MRP) of the paid channels included in it.
