In such a situation, the commission can clear the situation regarding the symbol.

It is necessary to decide on the symbol before the by-election

In the next few hours i.e. on Friday, the Election Commission can give an important decision regarding the bow and arrow symbol. In such a situation, both the groups will have an eye on whose side the symbol goes. The by-elections to the Andheri East assembly constituency in Mumbai are being held on November 3. It is expected that the Election Commission will give a decision on the bow and arrow before this by-election. The matter of power struggle in Maharashtra was pending before the Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court. Hearing this, the top court had asked the Election Commission to take a decision on the applications containing symbols.

Nomination process is fast for Andheri East seat

The Election Commission has been working fast since the order of the Supreme Court. The process of filing nominations for the Andheri East assembly by-election has started. The last date for filing nominations is October 14. If the bow and arrow of the Shiv Sena is fixed before filing the nomination papers, then the political equations of the Andheri by-election can change completely.
