Violent clashes broke out between two groups at Noida's Amity University last week in which two students were grievously injured. One of the two injured students is admitted in the ICU.

Videos and photos of the incident started trending on social media on Tuesday evening, calling for action against the perpetrators who beat up students over a minor parking dispute. However, the other faction has alleged that the two injured students, Harsh Yadav and Madhav Chaudhary, molested two girls that led to the incident.

Videos of the clashes and two boys in their bloodied clothes and faces have gone viral on the internet. Clips of Harsh Yadav and Madhav Chaudhary covered in blood and being taken to a hospital have been doing the rounds on social media with many calling for justice for the two.

While Madhav is admitted in the ICU, Harsh has received seven stitches on his head.

Two cross FIRs have been lodged in the incident.

The clashes took place on August 28 at the Amity University campus in Noida Sector 125. Both the victims are students of BA Political Science course at the private university.

On August 28, the two students were about to enter the university in their i20 car around 2.30 pm when they allegedly found a Ford Endeavour oddly parked at the gate, blocking their way. They requested the security guards at the gate to ask the girls sitting in the SUV to remove their car and make way. However, the car remained in its position and both the parties got into an argument.

The two boys claim then they went inside the university without any further arguments. An hour later, the two girls allegedly came back to the university and entered the classroom of Harsh and Madhav along with 25 men.

The group mercilessly started beating up Harsh and Madhav inside the classroom in which several students and teachers were left injured.

The group of men also broke classroom furniture and threw them at others to cause injury, claimed eyewitnesses.

The students had by this time called up the police and the group of men had fled. Eyewitnesses claim Harsh and Madhav then came out of the classroom to see if police have arrived, when they were again surrounded by these men. This is when they were allegedly beaten up with rods. The two sustained grievous injuries.

On the other hand, the girls have alleged that were harassed and molested by the two boys. Police said they are looking into both the cases that have been lodged and they will also inspect CCTV footage of the campus to know what exactly happened.
