Virat Kohli has slammed his seventh double century in Test cricket. He also completed his 7000 runs in Tests. The umpires called for tea as India reach 473 runs for 4 wickets with Kohli batting on 194. Faf du Plessis brought in Muthuswamy into the bowling attack. The South African got Kohli out in the first Test and du Plessis was hoping the same from him again.

Earlier, Virat Kohli’s 26th Test century has been the highlight of this session but not to forget the job done by Ajinkya Rahane. He is unbeaten on 58. In 27.5 overs India scored 83 runs without losing a wicket. Both Kohli and Rahane were tested early on by Rabada and Philander, they even found the outside edge on a few occasion but they didn’t carry. Since then it has been all India.
