New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party does not have the funds to contest the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi. At Burari's public meeting on Sunday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the people to donate. He also questioned the Centre's decision to regularize unauthorized colonies of the capital.

AAP convenor Kejriwal said, "We have done a lot of work in Delhi in the last 5 years. We no longer have the money to contest the next election. I did not earn a rupee in 5 years. Now it is up to you to help us fight elections.

The Chief Minister attacked the Modi government on the issue of regularizing unauthorized colonies in the public meeting. He said- Our government was also talking to the Center about unauthorized colonies, but we did not want a long process of registry. For 5 years we provided road, sewer and tap connections in these colonies, then why did the center not decide to regularize the colonies. Now elections are due, why did you remember then?

Application process will start from December 16: Union Minister

Earlier, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had said that people living in unauthorized colonies of Delhi will be able to apply for ownership from December 16. They will be given a certificate within 180 days. On this, Kejriwal told the people that till the copy of the registrar is in your hand, do not trust anyone (Central Government). I will do my best to get you the registry.

Puri said- Manoj Tiwari will be the Chief Minister, then reverse the statement

Union Minister Hardeep Singh said on Sunday, "We will fight the assembly elections with full force under the leadership of Manoj Tiwari (BJP state president) and he will die only after becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi." Puri's statement is offensive. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia retweeted Puri's statement and congratulated Tiwari. AAP spokesperson Raghav Chaddha also targeted the BJP for withdrawing the statement of the Union Minister.
