This means investors have made money on this day in 80% of the cases, with the market sentiment predominantly positive. There were only two instances when the market closed lower, the last being a marginal decline of 0. 63% in 2017.

Since then, the market has not looked back, delivering positive returns for seven consecutive years during Muhurat Trading. During this period, Nifty has given an average return of 0. 35%. The 2022 Muhurat session was the most stellar in the last decade, with the market soaring by a strong 0. 87%. Excitement for this year's Muhurat Trading is amplified by the current strong market sentiment. The festive cheer of Diwali is already palpable in the markets. In just the last four trading sessions, the Nifty 50 has recorded an impressive gain of over 750 points, while a 'bull run' is evident even before Diwali, and this strong momentum sets a positive stage for the special Muhurat Trading session. Market experts are also 'bullish'. Vishnu Kant Upadhyay, AVP of Research & Advisory at Master Capital Services, stated that. With strong technical indicators and continuously improving fundamental factors, the market sentiment is highly positive. Investor confidence is returning, and this sentiment is expected to hold during Muhurat Trading as well.
