Delhi News - AAP party surrounded by liquor scam, case in SC, ED may make accused
Aam Aadmi Party: ED's investigation in the Delhi liquor scam case has now reached the doorstep of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. Yesterday the agency arrested him after interrogating him for hours. Hearing on this matter is also going on in the Supreme Court. In yesterday's hearing, the bench had asked why Aam Aadmi Party has not been made an accused? The agency responsible for investigating money laundering has started taking the opinion of legal experts on this.

The Enforcement Directorate is going to inform the Supreme Court about this that action can also be taken against the Aam Aadmi Party. The party can be included as an accused. During the filing of charge sheet, you can be made an accused. Common MP Sanjay Singh was arrested by the agency after a long interrogation. Before this, a raid went on for hours at Sanjay Singh's house.

Sanjay Singh's role in policy making

The investigating agency claims that Sanjay Singh has an important role in this entire case. He has played a role in everything from formulating liquor policy to implementing it. However, now the liquor policy has been withdrawn but many big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have been involved in the investigation of this case. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain are in jail in connection with this case. Now Sanjay Singh is also in ED custody. Today he can be presented in the court. In the month of May, in one of its charge sheets, the agency had found Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia to be close to restaurant owner Dinesh Arora.

How will ED make Aam Aadmi Party an accused?

Today ED will tell in the Supreme Court whether the liquor policy can make Aam Aadmi Party an accused or not. Any political party can be included as an accused in the same way as any private company. Because a political party is a legal entity. If the party is made accused, its core committee members, who are separate from the legislature or cabinet ministers, will come under the scanner. The scope of ED's investigation will increase. Financial penalty may be imposed on the party. It is believed that the Aam Aadmi Party has also benefited from the scam.
