Akshay Vidhani became the new CEO of Yash Raj Films, joined as studio manager 17 years ago

Yash Raj Films, India's leading production house and distributor, has appointed Akshay Vidhani as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. Akshay Vidhani most recently served as Senior VP of Finance & Business Affairs and Head of Operations, Yash Raj Studios.

Let us tell you that Akshay Vidhani joined Yash Raj Films 17 years ago at the age of 22 as a studio manager. He has been responsible for setting up several commercial verticals for Yash Raj Films. Akshay started his career in Yash Ram Films as a studio manager. Thereafter, he gradually took on leadership roles in corporate finance, strategy and operations.

Akshay says, “I am excited to play the role of the CEO of Yash Raj Films. I am glad to have been appointed as the CEO of a company where I have spent 17 years of my life learning. I am happy That I will lead the team currently under the leadership of Yashji and Aditya Chopra. I work with passion and commitment towards innovation, creative excellence and future expansion plans. I look forward to collaborating with Yash Raj and leading the think-tank. The work has been assigned. I am looking forward to assume this responsibility and take the company to greater heights.
