On Wednesday, members of the opposition parties, including the Congress, again raised the issue of the skirmish between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh and demanded a discussion on it. Members of various opposition parties staged a walkout after not being allowed to discuss the issue in both the Houses.

Apart from this, the Congress and other parties also held a meeting to discuss the skirmish between the soldiers of India and China and some other issues to decide the further common strategy in both the Houses of the Parliament.

Defense Minister said that the soldiers of India gave a strong answer

It is worth mentioning that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had told in his statement in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that on December 9, Chinese troops made a unilateral attempt to change the status quo in the Yangtse region in the Tawang sector, to which Indian soldiers responded strongly and forced them to return.
