New Delhi - Ayodhya Verdict: Muslim Law Board to file a Review Petition in Supreme Court
Lucknow: All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) held a meeting in Lucknow on Sunday. In the meeting, Muslim leaders from across the country including AMIAM President Asaduddin Owaisi arrived. After the meeting, the board said in a press conference that it would file a review petition against the Supreme Court's decision on the Ayodhya case. At the same time, the Hindu Mahasabha has said that only the parties involved in the case can file a review petition in the Supreme Court. The board is not a party to the case, so it does not have the right to file a petition.

AIMPLB lawyer Zafaryab Jilani said, "Sharai will not accept the mosque land elsewhere because of reasons. We need the same land for which we fought. There are many contradictions in the Supreme Court's decision. When the idol was brought from outside, how were they considered gods? Birthplace cannot be considered a judicial person. There is no evidence of birthplace under the dome. The Supreme Court has held that Namaz was read there. We do not need 5 acres of land. Review has to be filed within 30 days, which we will do.

Only Sunni Waqf Board has the right to file petition: Hindu side

All India Hindu Mahasabha's lawyer Varun Sinha said that the Muslim Personal Law Board is not a party to the Ayodhya dispute, so it does not have the right to file a review petition in the Supreme Court. He said, "Only the parties related to the case can file a review petition. AIMPLB is not a party to the case. In this case, the Sunni Waqf Board is a party and only one can take a decision on filing a review petition. ”He also ruled out mistakes in the judgment.

'Will fight for the right'

Maulana Arshad Madani, national president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said that we know that the petition will be 100% dismissed. Despite this, we will file a review petition against the Supreme Court verdict. This is our right. At the same time, the Sunni Waqf Board and the case's party Iqbal Ansari boycotted the meeting.

Will not file reconsideration petition: Sunni Waqf Board

After the Supreme Court's decision, the Sunni Waqf Board had made it clear that it would not file a review petition against the verdict. A press conference was also held by Sunni Waqf Board Chairman Zuffar Farooqui. Apart from this, Owaisi said - Muslims do not want land for the mosque in the bailout. The Muslim of the country can buy land. He wrote on his Twitter - The mosque should be returned.

I will not pursue the matter: Iqbal Ansari

On the meeting of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Iqbal Ansari said- We are Muslims of India and also believe in the Constitution of India. The Ayodhya case was an important decision of India, we will not pursue this matter now. I did as much as I intended. Take the decision that the court has made. We were parties and we will no longer go to file a reconsideration petition. The parties are more. Don't know what someone is doing

Jilani's closing shop: Satyendra Das

Priest of Satyendra Das Ram Janmabhoomi, said - Iqbal Ansari flatly refused to file a review petition. The reconsideration petition has no justification. Zafaryab Jilani shop is closing, surely he will run it again. Ordinary Muslims are happy with the decision.

Court order should be respected: Dharmadas

Hindu party Dharmadas said- All persons are free by law. We want everyone to support Rama and express their faith in Rama's temple. Iqbal Ansari is the main party of Ayodhya and he says that we are welcome if we do not file a review.

A week ago, the court gave its verdict

Supreme Court had on November 9 ordered construction of a Ram temple on the disputed land and a grant of 5 acres for construction of a mosque at a prominent site in Ayodhya. It was also said that within three months the central government should form a trust for the construction of the temple.
