100 people protesting against Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu alleging Rs 2000 crore scam have been detained. At the same time, a case has been registered against 25 people under the UAPA. According to the report, 25 people have been booked under the Unlawful Activities Act and sent to judicial custody for 12 days.

Under the information, the state's tribal youth group All Nyashi Youth Association had accused CM Pema Khandu of scam of two thousand crore rupees of government funds. A petition was also filed in the Supreme Court in this matter, but after the petition was rejected, a 36-hour strike was called by the association, which was declared illegal by the government.

Strike even after declaring it illegal

Every effort was made by the government to stop the strike. At first it was declared illegal, while in many areas including Itanagar, internet was also closed. Despite this, the strike took place. After which more than 100 people were detained. Police say that weapons like slingshot and dagger have been found from the detained people. Police say that a conspiracy was being hatched to spread disorder and communal violence in the state through strike and protest rally.
