Rabiya Saifi a 21-year-old, who joined the Delhi Police Defence team 4 months ago was gone missing on the evening of 27th August. After some time when the family started to look for their daughter but couldn’t find her, they went to the police station as well as the collector’s residence. But no help was offered.
Rabiya was found dead a few hours later. She was beaten up, gang-raped, and had been stabbed over 50 times. Reports claim that a woman was also a part of this brutality.
On 4th Sep a man claimed that he was Rabiya Spouse and surrendered himself at the Kalindi Kunj Police Station. He said he killed her because she has illicit relations with other men. On the 27th evening, he picked her up on his bike, took her to Palli Road. Slashed her throat, chest, and her genitals. Police said that the reason for death was shock and hemorrhage due to the injuries, there was no sign of Sexual Assault.
However, Rabiya’s family claims that her genitals had wound and she was assaulted before death. The family has demanded CBI Probe.
