Presently Congress government in Chhattisgarh-Rajasthan

The stakes are high for the Congress as it is the ruling party in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan and is eyeing a second consecutive term in both the states. The party is hoping to return to power in Madhya Pradesh, where despite winning in 2018, it lost the majority in March 2020 after Jyotiraditya Scindia and 22 MLAs left the party and joined the BJP. In Telangana, the Congress is trying to defeat the ruling BRS, which is eyeing a third consecutive term in the state.
