Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', which started from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, will enter from Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Rahul Gandhi will enter UP from Ghaziabad's Loni border in the afternoon after taking a padyatra from the Hanuman temple located in Kashmiri Gate area of Delhi. During this, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will also be involved in the journey with him for three days. Rahul got the support of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait in UP, but could only get the blessings of the leaders of the opposition party.

Yatra will pass through three districts

Bharat Jodo Yatra in Uttar Pradesh will cover a distance of 130 km and will pass through 3 districts of Western UP. In Jatland, Rahul Gandhi will be seen infusing life into the Congress lying dormant for years. During his three-day visit, he will try to win three Lok Sabha seats and 11 assembly constituencies in UP. The march will pass through 11 assembly constituencies of Ghaziabad, Baghpat and Shamli districts.

Bharat Jodo Yatra will pass through three districts of West UP, but the party has invited people from all over the state. Apart from party leaders, office bearers and workers, Congress has also invited leaders of major opposition parties and representatives of smaller parties to participate in the yatra. Congress is trying to make it an opportunity for opposition unity along with showing its strength in the state through the yatra, but it has got only blessings and not support from opposition parties.

Opposition got only blessings

SP President Akhilesh Yadav has congratulated Rahul Gandhi for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He has sent a letter saying that it is expected that this yatra will achieve its goal. BSP chief Mayawati has written that she thanks Rahul Gandhi for the letter received to join the yatra. RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary has also opted out of Bharat Jodo Yatra citing his busyness. Subhaspa chief Om Prakash Rajbhar also did not give any statement to join the yatra.

Rakesh Tikait got together

People associated with social organizations and farmers' organizations have also been invited for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress national secretary and UP in-charge Pradeep Narwal said that Bharat Jodo Yatra is getting support from all sections of the society. In such a situation, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait will also welcome the visit. Workers of Kisan Union have supported the yatra. In this way, Congress is uplifted by coming together with Rakesh Tikait in Jatland and Kisan Belt.

Rahul-Priyanka will travel together

During the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Uttar Pradesh, along with Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will also be seen doing a padyatra. Priyanka Gandhi is in charge of UP, so along with Rahul Gandhi, she will do padyatra in the state for all four days. Priyanka has earlier walked with Rahul Gandhi in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, but now in UP too, her siblings will be seen creating a political environment by walking together. That is why posters of Rahul and Priyanka have been put together.

Will politics settle in Jatland?

Out of total 75 districts of UP, Bharat Jodo Yatra will start from only three districts, but during this Rahul will be seen doing political equations. In UP, the yatra will start from Loni assembly of Ghaziabad district, which is a part of Ghaziabad Lok Sabha. Rahul Gandhi will address the gathering on January 3 and will spend the next two days in Baghpat and Shamli, the most important in terms of UP politics.

In West UP, which is known as Jatland, Congress's political hold is not getting stronger for a long time. Surendra Goyal was the last Congress MP in Ghaziabad in 2004, since then the BJP is in power. Even in 2004, Congress won after forging an alliance with RLD and after 1984 this victory was won, but could not maintain it.

For the last time in the year 1996 in Baghpat Lok Sabha, Chaudhary Ajit Singh won the election by contesting on Congress ticket. After that he continued to contest elections from RLD. Akhtar Hasan has been MP for the last time in 1984 from Congress on Kairana Lok Sabha seat of Shamli district. In this way, in Ghaziabad for 14 years, in Baghpat for 27 years and in Kairana for 39 years, the Congress could not get its lost land. Now, in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, some hope has arisen after the Congress got the support of Bhakiyu, a big farmer organization of Jatland.

Congress will simplify caste equation

Congress has made a plan to create political and social equations in UP on the pretext of Bharat Jodo Yatra. In this episode, leaders of different castes and organizations belonging to the most backward classes will participate in the march with Rahul Gandhi. Regarding this, party leader Anil Yadav said that invitations have been sent to all the leaders of organizations belonging to backward castes to join the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Leaders of backward castes including Rajbhar, Pal, Kushwaha, Nai, Banjara, Kurmi, Mallah, Kashyap, Saini, Shakya, Chauhan will walk in the first row with Rahul Gandhi. OBC leaders will talk to Rahul Gandhi about their problems and issues. People from Dalit and Adivasi communities will also march with Rahul in Bharat Jodo Yatra. Apart from this, people associated with civil society and social organizations will also participate, and litterateurs and intellectuals will also participate.

Rahul's journey will end in Kashmir

Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter from Loni border of Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. After this, it will enter Baghpat on January 4, Shamli on January 5 and Kairana on January 6 to enter Sonipat district of Haryana. From January 6 to January 10, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will be in Haryana. After this the Yatra will enter Punjab on January 11 and will also pass through Himachal Pradesh on January 19 for a day. Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Jammu and Kashmir on January 20 and then on January 30, Rahul Gandhi will conclude by hoisting the tricolor.
