In view of the rising outbreak of the second wave of Corona, the government wants to consider the decision of CBSE 12th exam very carefully. For this, opinions have also been sought from all the state governments. Explain that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has a plan to conduct CBSE Class 12 Board Examination from July 15 to August 26. Let us know how the board has prepared plan B along with the plan.

Board examinations and other entrance examinations of various states including CBSE, CISCE and other entrance examinations are continuously being postponed in view of the increasing danger of the second wave of Kovid-19. In such a situation, the government has proposed to conduct examinations in the short format of 12th with the required subjects in view of the situation there with the states. However, the Delhi government has clearly stated that the board examinations and the teachers who are on duty should be vaccinated first, only then the board examinations should be conducted.

CBSE has proposed that the board exams be conducted only for certain core subjects. Apart from this, the duration of the exam should be increased to 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours. Most state education ministers supported the latter option at the meeting of education ministers. However, some also demanded a slight change, know what they are.

According to one option, the exam pattern of 1.5-hour or 90-minute examination will be different. It will contain only MCQ questions so that the students can complete the examination in the given time. A CBSE source told PTI that the exam will be conducted in the students' own schools and they will have to appear for one language subject and three electives.

For the examination, a temporary time table has been prepared, according to which the examination will be conducted in two phases from 15 July to 1 August and in the second phase from 6 August to 26 August. This includes a proposal to conduct the exam on Sunday as well.

As a second Plan B on behalf of the board, CBSE suggested that if the students are unable to appear initially due to any Kovid-19 related issue, then the students will get one for the CBSE Board Exam 2021 after about 15 days. A second option can be given. Explain that the government will give full information about this option on June 1.

Like last year, this year also the CBSE board exam 2021 will be conducted with all Kovid-19 security protocols. Social distancing and other rules will be followed during the exam. Explain that in the meantime, a large section of students, parents and teachers are demanding the cancellation of CBSE Board Exam 2021 on social media. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that both the safety, security and future of students and teachers are of paramount importance to us.

Explain that the Central Government has proposed that examinations of 19 subjects can be conducted by the CBSE Board with special preparation, following the Corona Protocol. This includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, History, Political Science, Business Studies, Accounts, Geography, Economics and English. These are the subjects which will help in merit admission process in universities in future.
