Jharkhand: Female constable mother daughter murdered in police line guest lock

A woman constable, her mother and daughter were murdered with sharp weapons in Jamshedpur's Golmuri police line. The bodies of the three were recovered from the Government Quarter J-5 (Block-2) by the policemen located at Police Lines late on Thursday night. The dead included female constable Savita Hembram (30), her mother Lakhia Murmu (70) and Savita's daughter Geeta Hembram.

After the incident, the killers locked the three dead bodies in the flat and escaped after locking the lock from outside. Neighboring policemen and their families informed Major Dharmendra Kumar on Thursday night after the foul smell emanated from the flat. Major immediately informed this to SSP Prabhat Kumar. The police of Golmuri police station also reached the spot. When the lock of the flat was broken in the presence of the SSP, the mutilated bodies of the three were lying inside.

Panic has spread in the police line due to the triple murder. Immediately after the incident, the police sealed the room where the dead bodies were lying. No one is being allowed inside. But from the situation inside, it is clear that the murderers had come to the woman constable's flat as guests and they killed Savita and her family members on Tuesday night itself.

On Tuesday, the woman constable and her family were seen by the neighbors and she had also gone on duty in the first half that day. Looking at the spot, it clearly shows that there were more than 2 people among the murderers, who came out of the house after the incident and fled after closing the lock.

Controversy was going on with the in-laws regarding compassion

Savita was having a dispute with her in-laws. After the death of her husband Kailash, when her name was proposed for contractual job, it was opposed by her mother-in-law. Savita was 5 months pregnant when her husband died. After that when she was admitted to the hospital at the time of delivery, no one from her in-laws came to see her.

Giving information about this, Savita's sister Ranu Mardi tells that when her sister was about to get a job, Savita's mother-in-law had written in the SSP office that instead of Savita, her second son (Savita's brother-in-law) should be given a job. Later Savita's mother-in-law died. After that Savita's brother-in-law started pushing for the job. But by then Savita had got a job and she started doing duty in the SSP office.

Both brother-in-law and brother-in-law were angry with Savita about this. Savita's husband Kailash had three brothers, of which Kailash was the middle. After the death of Kailash, there was often a dispute between them. Savita's in-laws are in Kundru Sai of Dumaria. While his maternal uncle Seraikela Kharsawan water is in Rajnagar. Savita's sister lives in Somayjhopdi of Bagbera.

Secrets exposed through friends' phones

Sister Ranu says that Savita was being called repeatedly by Hembram's friends to find out where she had gone for two days. Because outside the house was locked and no information was being found about it. Even after going to the SSP office and found out, he had not even taken leave. So everyone was confused about all these things. Friends were repeatedly calling Savita's sister.

After the constant phone calls, sister Ranu reached the police line first on Thursday night and went to the door, then there was a smell from inside. By the time the SSP also came, it became clear that the dead body was lying inside. After that the door of the room was broken in the presence of the SSP, then the body of the female constable, her mother and daughter were lying inside.

The dead body of a female soldier was lying on the bed

The policemen were stunned by the sight inside the flat. The blood-soaked body of female constable Savita was lying on the bed. She was in nightie. Blood splattered all over the wall right in front of him. Savita's mother Lakhia's body was lying on the ground, while daughter Geeta's body was also lying nearby. All three were murdered with a sharp weapon. Here immediately the forensic team also reached the spot and started investigation, while with the help of dog squad, the police has started looking for clues.
