Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement on the birth anniversary of 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh. He saluted the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh and said that from this year on 26th of December, 'Veer Bal Diwas' will now be celebrated. He said that it is a true tribute to the courage of Sahibzadas. He has made many tweets in this matter.
The PM tweeted and wrote, 'On the occasion of Prakash Parv, the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji, I am very happy to inform that now India will celebrate 'Veer Bal Diwas' on 26th of December. This will be a true tribute to the four Sahibzadas of Gobind Singh ji.
He further tweeted, 'Veer Bal Diwas is the same day Sahibzade Zorawar Singh, Sahibzade Fateh Singh were sacrificed for this country and they were elected alive in the wall. These two great personalities chose death instead of choosing any other religion.
In another tweet, the PM wrote, 'The valor of Mata Gujri Devi, Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji and their four sahibzadas gives courage to crores of people of India. These great people never bowed their heads to injustice. Now the time has come when people try to know more and more about them.
