What is the Annual Toll Pass?

The Annual Toll Pass is a digital pass that allows you up to 200 free trips on a specific route in a year. So, if you regularly travel on the same highway route, you will no longer need to pay toll charges via FASTag every time. This facility will be especially beneficial for school buses, public transport vehicles, regular commuters, and commercial vehicles.

This scheme will be implemented nationwide starting August 15, 2025, and is expected to bring financial relief to millions of drivers.

What Documents Are Required?

While applying for the Annual Toll Pass, you will need to provide the following details:

• Vehicle registration number

• Name of the vehicle owner

• Mobile number

• Email (if available)

• Route information (Origin and Destination)

• Vehicle category (Private/Commercial)

Where and How to Apply?

There will be two main options to obtain this digital pass:

1. Through the Highway Saathi App

• Download the Highway Saathi App from Google Play Store or iOS App Store

• Log in or register

• Go to the “Annual Toll Pass” section

• Fill in vehicle and route details

• Make the digital payment

• Your pass will be activated virtually

2. Via the NHAI / MoRTH Websites

• MoRTH Website: https://morth.nic.in

A link for the Annual Toll Pass will soon be activated on these websites. Visit the link, fill out the application form, submit the necessary details, and make the payment. Once the registration is complete, the pass will be activated.
