Ashok Gehlot News: Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, speaking to the media at the Circuit House during his visit to Bhilwara on Monday, launched a scathing attack on the current Bhajan Lal government. He stated that he has no personal grudge against Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma or the government, but his sympathies lie with the general public. Gehlot said, "The situation in the state is worsening. The government should understand the suffering of the people. People's work is not being done, crime is on the rise, and there is an atmosphere of fear throughout the state."

Advice to the government: Act with confidence and authority

Gehlot advised the Bhajan Lal government to govern with confidence and authority. He said, "The government's credibility has been lost. If the government takes concrete steps, the public will benefit." Gehlot alleged that many initiatives initiated by his government, such as the 100-unit free electricity scheme, were stalled by the Bhajan Lal government. He said, "People are being discriminated against in their electricity bills, they are not getting connections, and payments to contractors are pending."

Neglect of Farmers and Livestock

Gehlot also highlighted the problems faced by farmers and livestock owners. He stated that compensation for last year's losses has not yet been received. Animal feed and seeds for farmers are not being provided. He demanded that the government enforce the rules to ensure timely land surveys are conducted and farmers receive relief.

Confusion over the Chiranjeevi Scheme

The former CM praised Rajasthan's Chiranjeevi Scheme, saying it was a role model in the medical field, providing insurance cover of up to ₹25 lakh. However, he alleged that the current government misrepresented it, leading people to believe that benefits of only ₹5 lakh are available.

Concerns over Delimitation and the Gravel Mafia

On the issue of delimitation, Gehlot said that if the government acted dishonestly, it would face consequences. He said, "Delimitation should be legitimate." He also expressed concern over the growing gravel mafia and its terror in the state.

The Vote Theft Issue: A Threat to the Country

On the issue of vote theft, Gehlot stated that it poses a significant threat to the country. Targeting the central government and the BJP, he said, "Ask questions to the Election Commission and the BJP answers. The environment for vote theft already exists due to EVMs."

Accusing the BJP of Pretending to Be a Cow Worshipper

Gehlot accused the BJP of playing politics on the Hindu-Muslim and cow issues. He said, "Our government started grants for cow shelters. The BJP only pretends to be cow-worshipper, but does not serve cows."

Suggestions for the Government

Gehlot advised the government to work seriously. He said that if the government pays attention to the problems, all issues can be resolved. He advised the Chief Minister to hire advisors who can provide sound advice so that decisions can be made in the public interest.
