India - Impose President's rule in Maharashtra: Union Minister Athawale
Mumbai: Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Friday demanded imposition of President's rule in Maharashtra following the arrest of Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze in connection with Mansukh Hiran murder case and Antilia terror scare case. While speaking to media, Ramdas Athawale said that suspended Mumbai Police Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze's alleged role in the bomb scare outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia points to a larger conspiracy in this matter.

He continued saying, "Ambani is a big industrialist of the country and he employs thousands of people. In such a situation, it is necessary to expose the real culprits of a big conspiracy like placing explosives in front of their house. Sachin Waze has been arrested in the NIA inquiry. The inquiry is going on."

"It is necessary to find the patrons of Sachin Waze," added the Union Minister.

Athawale then demanded that President's rule be implemented in Maharashtra and also said that he will write to Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard.
