Team India had given a target of 139 runs to West Indies, which they achieved by losing 5 wickets in 19.2 overs. Brandon King scored the highest 68 runs for the team. Match delayed due to non-availability of players' luggage
For the first time, the T20 match was delayed not because of rain, but because of non-availability of players' luggage. The match was played at the Basseterre Ground in St. Kitts, but the baggage of the players from Trinidad did not reach St. Kitts. Due to this, the match which started at 8 pm started at 11 pm.
India was leading 1-0 in this series, but after losing the second match, the series is level at 1-1. Had India won this match, it would have become the team with the most number of matches against West Indies.
