The Supreme Court said that Chidambaram cannot be granted anticipatory bail as it may affect the investigation.

The Supreme Court has accepted the plea of ​​the investigating agency ED, in which they have talked about custody and interrogation. 

The dismissal of the anticipatory bail plea from the Supreme Court means that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) can now take Chidambaram into custody for questioning in the INX Media case. The Supreme Court has ordered in this case that the documents collected by the ED need not be shown to Chidambaram.

The dismissal of Chidambaram's anticipatory bail plea in the ED case is nothing short of a major setback. Because Chidambaram's CBI custody is coming to an end today. In such a situation, the Enforcement Directorate will also try to take him in remand so that he can also inquire into his case. Today, C Chidambaram has a hearing in the Supreme Court and the trial court in the CBI case. Today, the Supreme Court and the trial court will decide whether Chidambaram gets bail or is sent to Tihar Jail or the CBI remand period gets extended.
