Israel-Iran War: The war between Israel and Iran is now becoming even more horrific. Amidst the ongoing conflict between the two countries for the fourth consecutive day, Israel has carried out another major attack. This time its target was Iran's state television channel Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). This attack took place when a live news bulletin was being broadcast on the channel. During the attack, the explosion was so strong that the anchor present in the studio had to run away immediately.It was seen in the video footage that the anchor was reading the news, when suddenly there was an explosion and debris scattered all around the studio. Within a few seconds the atmosphere turned into chaos. After this attack, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has issued a statement warning that in the coming time all the TV channels and radio stations of Tehran will be targeted.
The scope of the conflict increasedEarlier on Monday, Iran had carried out a major attack on Israel's capital Tel Aviv and the major port city of Haifa. In response, Israel launched airstrikes in central Iran and Tehran late in the evening. The IRIB building was also targeted in these attacks.The IDF shared another video on X (formerly Twitter), in which they said they targeted trucks loaded with missile launchers that were heading towards Tehran.
Continuous attacks- Israel has attacked several key targets in Iran in the last few days:
- Sunday night: Iran's Foreign Ministry was targeted, injuring more than 100 people.
- June 14: The Defense Ministry in Tehran was attacked.
- So far, more than 224 people have died in these attacks and more than 1,277 are injured. According to a US-based group of human rights activists, the figure is even higher—they have claimed 406 deaths.
