A sensational incident of murder has come to light in Bamanwas village under the Chirawa police station area of Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan. On Sunday night, Udayveer Singh, a 50-year-old retired soldier of the Indian Army, was stabbed to death. According to police officials, the incident occurred while Udayveer Singh was engaged in a conversation with a local youth identified as Akram. The discussion reportedly turned into a heated argument, during which the accused allegedly stabbed Singh in the stomach with a knife. The assailant fled the scene immediately after the attack, leaving the victim in a critical condition.

Udayveer Singh had retired from the army in 2011 and had been residing in his ancestral village since then. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. Upon receiving information about the crime, senior police and administrative officials rushed to the spot. To prevent any communal or social unrest, a large number of police personnel have been deployed in the village, while multiple police teams have been formed to track down the accused, and intensive search operations are being conducted in the surrounding areas.

Sequence of the Violent Altercation

According to the police investigation, Udayveer Singh and the accused, Akram, were discussing a certain matter on Sunday night, while eyewitness accounts suggest that the conversation was initially civil but escalated rapidly into a verbal spat. In a fit of rage, Akram allegedly pulled out a concealed knife and stabbed Singh in the abdomen, while the victim collapsed on the ground, bleeding profusely. By the time villagers and family members reached the spot, the accused had managed to escape under the cover of darkness.

Medical Emergency and Fatality

Immediately after the incident, family members and villagers rushed Udayveer Singh to a private hospital in Chirawa. Given his critical condition and the severity of the internal injuries, doctors provided primary treatment and referred him to a higher medical center in Jaipur for specialized care. Unfortunately, Singh's condition deteriorated further while he was being transported in an ambulance. He succumbed to his injuries en route to Jaipur. Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors declared him dead, and his body was subsequently moved to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
