IND vs ENG: Mitchell Starc doesn't want to bowl to Shubman Gill?

IND vs ENG: Australia's experienced fast bowler Mitchell Starc has praised the batting of Indian Test team captain Shubman Gill during the ongoing Test series between India and England. Starc recently surprised everyone by saying that he would like to avoid bowling against Gill on England pitches. Speaking in the Willow Talk podcast, Mitchell Starc said, "It is for sure that I would not want to bowl to Gill in England. I may not have watched the matches, but I have definitely kept an eye on the scorecard. Some players like Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey have woken up in the morning and watched the match while drinking coffee. I saw the scores, and which bowler would want to bowl on such a pitch in England? Reports revealed that this pitch is exactly like the subcontinent, which is hard to believe. This pitch is very challenging and dangerous for the bowlers."

In this show, Australian female cricketer and Starc's wife Alyssa Healy asked him if he was scared to see such big scores in England before the Ashes. To this Starc replied, "I have not read it at all yet. They are playing on pitches like highways. Scoring 300 runs in a Test and India getting them out, what do you think of this? I don't know. According to me, they are not playing for a draw."

Indian batsmen dominate England Test series

Apart from Shubman Gill, other Indian batsmen have also performed brilliantly in this Test series.
