The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar has officially announced its seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Assembly elections, concluding intense negotiations among its constituents. The announcement, made by BJP's Bihar election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, confirms a balanced distribution of constituencies among the alliance partners.
Seat Distribution Details
As per the finalized agreement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) will each contest 101 seats. This equitable distribution highlights the two major parties' strong standing within the alliance. Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) (LJP R) has been allotted 29 seats, a significant share although slightly less than their initial demand of 35.
