Nitin gadkari taunts on uddhav thackeray while praising chandrasekhar bawankule

New Delhi : Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has praised the new state president of Maharashtra BJP Chandrashekhkar Bawankule. At the same time, he also said that this is possible only in the BJP, where a common worker reaches the top post of the party with his hard work. Gadkari did not just stop here. He even said that BJP is not in those parties where the Chief Minister's son becomes a minister on his own. It is believed that by saying this, he has taken a jibe at former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray.

Being a leader's son is not a crime, but ability is important

Gadkari was speaking at the felicitation function of newly appointed Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule. However, he also said that being the son of a politician is not a crime. But at the same time he also said that people have to show their ability to get any position in the party. It is worth mentioning that Chandrashekhar Bawankule, who once drove an auto rickshaw in Nagpur, has come a long way to become the state president. Prior to this, he had also been the state's energy minister in the year 2014 during the tenure of Devendra Fadnavis. However, in the 2019 elections, the party refused to give him a ticket.

Gadkari also mentioned this during his speech. He said that he was not disappointed at all when Bawankule was not given a ticket in the 2019 assembly elections. This was the reason that when the right time came, the party honored him with this position. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis was also present in the program. He also agreed with Gadkari and said that Bawankule's appointment is a reward from the party for his hard work and commitment. Bawankule has been associated with the BJP since its early days. He said that he has been a very hard working party worker and takes his work very seriously and thinks towards the result.
