Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Dausa directly by helicopter for this inaugural programme. Keeping this in mind, three helipads have been made near the venue. The SPG has taken control of the venue and the surrounding area. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and many Union Ministers will participate in the ceremony. Chief Minister Manohar Lal will be present in this ceremony along with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The Union Minister will inaugurate the control room here. From here the Union Minister and the Chief Minister will participate in the function organized near the toll plaza built at village Hilalpur in Nuh district. After this, the Union Minister will reach Dausa observing the entire route.

The section is 246 km long

The Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is 246 km long, developed at a cost of over Rs 12,150 crore. With the commissioning of this section, the travel time from Delhi to Jaipur will be reduced from five hours to about three and a half hours. According to the statement, the opening of this section will also boost economic development in the entire region. During his programme, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for 247 km long National Highway projects, to be developed at a cost of over Rs 5,940 crore.

The total length of the expressway is 1,386 km.

It is noteworthy that the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be the longest expressway in India, with a total length of 1,386 km. With its completion, the travel distance between Delhi and Mumbai will be reduced by 12 per cent and the road length will be reduced from 1,424 km to 1,242 km. There will also be a reduction of 50 percent in the travel time. Where earlier the journey used to take 24 hours, now it will take 12 hours. This expressway will pass through six states – Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra and will connect major cities like Kota, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Vadodara and Surat.
