Income Tax Department Raid: In Jalna, Maharashtra, the Income Tax Department (IT) has seized benami assets worth about Rs 390 crore from the locations of 5 business groups. In Raid, Rs 58 crore cash, 32 kg gold ornaments, diamonds and pearls worth Rs 16 crore were found from them. It took about 13 hours for the Income Tax Department team to count the cash. Some employees got sick while counting cash.According to Income Tax Department sources, this action was taken from August 1 to 7 at the factory, house and offices of SRJ Steel, Kalika Steel, a co-operative bank, financier Vimal Raj Bora, dealer Pradeep Bora.
260 officers and employees of the Income Tax Department were involved in the raid, who came in more than 120 vehicles. Five different teams carried out this operation at the same time. All precautions were taken. For this, the team had pasted stickers of the names of the bride and groom on their vehicles, so that it could be known that these vehicles were going to a wedding. During this operation everyone was talking in the code word 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge'.
