Allegations of 'Form 7' Misuse

Ashok Gehlot took to the social media platform 'X' to share crucial information, stating that today. Marks the last day for filing objections to remove names during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. He claimed that reports from various parts of the state indicate that unknown individuals are submitting a large number of 'Form 7s' to object to and subsequently remove the names of Congress supporters, while 'Form 7' is a legitimate mechanism for objecting to entries in the voter list, but Gehlot's allegations suggest its systematic misuse to disenfranchise voters perceived to be aligned with the Congress party, thereby manipulating the electoral outcome.

Call to Action for Congress Workers

The former Chief Minister has instructed his party workers and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to immediately switch to 'action mode. ' He appealed to all Congress workers to diligently and vigilantly monitor this entire process. Gehlot emphasized that no legitimate voter's name should be removed from the list under any circumstances. He underscored the gravity of the situation, framing it as a matter of protecting India's democracy, which requires serious attention and proactive measures from all involved to ensure fairness and transparency in the electoral process.

Stern Warning to Administrative Officials

Claim of 5 Lakh Votes to be Deleted

That following the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National Organization General Secretary B. L. Santosh to Jaipur, a well-orchestrated strategy was initiated to remove Congress workers' votes. Dotasra alleged that Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) were handed 'Form Number 7s' at the behest of Delhi leaders, which are being used to delete the names of Congress supporters and workers from the voter lists. He further claimed that a special pen drive was issued from the Chief Minister's Residence (CMR), containing data to remove 4 to 5 thousand Congress-affiliated votes from each assembly constituency. According to Dotasra, this amounts to a blueprint for deleting approximately 5 lakh votes across the state, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the upcoming elections and the democratic process.
