Ramdas Athawale says new government can be formed in Maharashtra by sharing CMs post with Shiv Sena

Mumbai: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale has given a big statement amid speculations of BJP and Shiv Sena coming closer. Athawale said that the BJP and Shiv Sena can form the government together in Maharashtra. The Union Minister has also suggested a formula for this. Let us inform that recently, after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speculations have started about the two former allies coming closer.

Discussion with Fadnavis

Ramdas Athawale said that a 'Mahayuti' (grand alliance) government of other parties including BJP and Shiv Sena can be formed. In this Mahayuti, the post of Chief Minister can be shared with Shiv Sena for half the term. Athawale said that he has discussed this issue with BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and soon a meeting will be held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.

Congress's troubles set to increase

This statement of Minister Ramdas Athawale is sure to increase the trouble of Congress. The Congress is also included in the Maharashtra government. In such a situation, if BJP and Shiv Sena again come under one umbrella, it will definitely have to go out. Already Congress is going through a bad situation. With the continuous defeat in the elections, its leaders are leaving it. Former Union minister and Congress leader Jitin Prasada also joined the BJP on Wednesday. Earlier Jyotiraditya Scindia has distanced himself from him.

CM praised PM

Recently, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray reached Delhi and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, Uddhav Thackeray had said that their meeting was regarding other issues related to the state including Maratha reservation. After this meeting, the CM had also praised the PM, reacting to which Ramdas Athawale said that this is the right time to form a coalition government between BJP and Shiv Sena.
