Road accident in Theni, Tamil Nadu, car full of devotees fell into the ditch, 8 people died, 9 year old child injured

Tamil Nadu Road Accident: A horrific road accident has taken place in the Kumuli hilly area of Theni district of Tamil Nadu. In this accident, a car fell into a 40 feet deep gorge. Eight devotees have died and a nine-year-old child has been injured in this accident. In fact, 10 Ayyappa devotees from Sammugasundarapuram village near Andipatti were going home after darshan. Then his car became a victim of an accident. The incident happened on late Friday night.

KV Muraleedharan, District Collector, Theni said, '8 people died and 2 people were rescued and taken to hospital. They were near Eiraichalpalem on the Kumuli mountain road when the car fell into a deep gorge.
