Shahid Kapoor refuses to perform in Award ceremony, leave the show: Know why

Unhappy over not receiving the Best Actor Popular Award during an award ceremony, Shahid Kapoor left the show. Shahid, who gave 'Kabir Singh' the second biggest hit of the year, was to be given the Best Actor Award, but at the last minute, the organizers awarded Ranveer Singh the award. Significantly, the angry actor did not perform in the program. 

According to English news website Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor was to be given the Best Actor Popular Award in Ceremony. Not only this, since this news, the actors were also preparing for his performance in the program. According to sources, the organizers decided to award Ranvir Singh in place of Shahid at last moment. Angered by this attitude of the organizers, Shahid left the program without performing.

Suffering from poor health

Shahid is one of the few actors in the industry who is always ready for work. The actor also spoke about the commitments made for the film during an award ceremony. It is worth mentioning that Kabir Singh actor was suffering from poor health for some time, but at the moment his doctor has advised him to quit work. 

Aman Gill, producer of the film 'Jersey', says that Shahid is very serious about his work and always tries to give his best. However, at the moment, his health is worse and our health is more important for us. Aman said that in view of his health, we have decided to postpone the shoot. The film work will start again on December 13.
