The incident of robbery of Shivpura police station in Rajasthan's Pali has come to the fore. The officers of the police station and other police personnel robbed the jewelery merchant of Punjab through their agent. After beating up the businessman and his two accomplices, he also transferred one lakh rupees to the accounts of two acquaintances. The victim alleged that the police had also taken artificial jewelery worth about four lakhs from her.

After the robbery, the complainant had lodged a case against the accused policemen in Sadar police station of Pali. When SP Rajan Dushyant got the matter investigated, the whole truth came out. After this, Shivpura police station officer Anil Saran, constables Gigaram and Tulsiram have been arrested. Head constable Mithalal of Shivpura police station, constable Manish Vishnoi and master master of the robbery, Amrit Soni are absconding. Police is trying to arrest the accused. Here, the SP has suspended SHO Anil and two constables Gigaram and Tulsiram.

What is the whole matter

Pali SP Rajan Dushyant said that Surendra Singh (32) son Sardar Govind Singh, who lives in Amritsar, Punjab, works in artificial jewelry for a long time. Amrit Soni, a resident of Jodhpur, is an acquaintance of Surendra. At her behest, Surendra came to Pali with his friend Lavis (19) on 15 February to market his jewellery.

The SP said that the accused Amrit brought the victim from Beawar to Pali on the pretext of adding new buyers. On reaching near Jadan toll naka, the policemen in two vehicles made the businessman and his friend sit in their car and took them towards the forest. On the way, threatening to implicate both of them in a false case and beating them up, looted two lakh rupees and jewellery. Later, leaving the merchant on Ajmer road, he fled. After this, Friyadi reached the police station and filed a case.
