SA vs WI: The three ODI series between West Indies and South Africa ended in a 1-1 draw. In the third ODI, South Africa won by 4 wickets in a bang. In this match, Heinrich Klaasen showed a blistering game for South Africa and scored a stormy century. He played an innings of 119 runs. It was because of him that the South African team was successful in registering a victory. With the victory against the West Indies, the South African team made a big record.

West Indies gave South Africa a target of 261 runs to win, which the South African team achieved by losing 6 wickets in 29.3 overs. With this, South Africa cricket has become the first team in the world to chase down a target of more than 250 runs in less than 30 overs in ODI cricket. South Africa chased against the West Indies at a run rate of 8.95. Earlier in the year 2006, South Africa scored 438 runs in 49.5 overs at a run rate of 8.78 against Australia.

This batsman did amazing

The first match between South Africa and West Indies was rained off while the second match was won by West Indies. In the third match, Heinrich Klaasen hit 15 fours and five sixes in a 61-ball stormy innings. He completed his second career century in just 54 balls. He made the team win with 123 balls remaining by hitting six and two fours in the first three balls of the 30th over.

West Indies batsmen were flop

The South African team won the toss in the match and decided to bowl first, which proved to be absolutely correct. Kyle Meyers was dismissed for just 14 runs from the West Indies side. Then Brandon King scored 72 runs. Nicholas Pooran (39) and Jason Holder (36) could not convert a good start into a big innings for the team. Because of this the team could not score big.

Heinrich Klaasen played a stormy innings for South Africa. He scored as per his wish against the West Indies bowlers. He shared a 55-run partnership with David Miller (17) and then a 103-run partnership from 62 balls with Jansen (43) to ensure South Africa's victory. Alzarri Joseph took three wickets for 50 runs for the West Indies.
