Manipur Violence - The opposition is now preparing to surround the central government - can bring a motion of no confidence against the government
Manipur Violence: The Congress-led opposition is preparing to bring a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. No-confidence motion will be used as a weapon to discuss Manipur. This is the reason that by issuing a whip on behalf of the Congress, all the Lok Sabha MPs of the Congress Parliamentary Party have been told that they will have to be present in the CCP office today i.e. on 26th July. It has been told that there will be a meeting in the office, in which some important issues will be discussed.

Actually, a meeting of INDIA, a coalition of opposition parties, is to be held. In this, if it is agreed that even after all efforts, PM Modi is not ready to speak on Manipur and this issue is not being discussed. Then a motion will be brought against the Modi government as a last weapon to call the PM to the House and have a long discussion on Manipur. First of all, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge will hold a meeting at 10 am. Then it will be prepared in the Lok Sabha.

Today there will be a round of meetings

Sources have told that a meeting has been called at 10.30 am for the no-confidence motion to be brought by the opposition. It has been told that the opposition can bring a no-confidence motion against the Modi government in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday itself. On its part, the opposition has started preparations. At 10.30 am where there will be a meeting of Congress MPs with Sonia Gandhi, at 10 am there will be a meeting of opposition alliance INDIA in Kharge's room.

The Congress has issued a three-line whip for its Lok Sabha MPs, so that they remain present in the House. The way the opposition walked out in the Rajya Sabha on the previous day and then despite the uproar in the Lok Sabha, the government got the bills passed, the opposition has become serious and is now looking at the no-confidence motion as an option.

House proceedings being disrupted

In fact, the opposition is demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should discuss the Manipur violence in Parliament. Due to this demand, there has been a lot of uproar and for the last four days, the proceedings of the House have been repeatedly interrupted. Violence in Manipur started from the month of May, which is still going on. Recently, a video of sexual harassment of two women in Manipur also went viral. Police told that this incident happened on May 4. Pressure has been created on the government regarding this issue.
