According to Vijay Wadettiwar, leader of opposition in Maharashtra Assembly, a huge rally is being organized at Shivaji Park in Dadar area of Mumbai. He told that representatives of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and other allies of the opposition alliance will also be present in the rally. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar will also participate in the rally.

Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, being taken out under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, reached Mumbai on Saturday afternoon after passing through various states. Addressing a meeting in Wada taluka of Palghar, Maharashtra, Rahul Gandhi said that the power and wealth of the country is controlled by those people whose total population is 6 percent.
