The Election Commission of India has released the final voter list for Uttar Pradesh following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, while according to the official data, the rate of voter deletion in 46 Muslim-majority (Urdu-speaking) assembly constituencies has been recorded as lower than the overall state average. On top of that, the rate of adding new voters in these specific regions was slightly higher than the general average for the state. This report incorporates updated figures as of April 10, 2026.

Despite the lower average deletion rate, certain specific urban and Muslim-majority seats witnessed a substantial decrease in the number of voters. Comparing the pre-SIR list of October 27, 2025, with the final list of April 10, 2026, drops ranging from 15% to 29% were recorded in parts of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Moradabad, and Lucknow. 88%. 80%.

Tanda saw a reduction of 30,692 voters, while Sisamau recorded 50,558 removals. Pilibhit saw a decrease of 35,880 voters, and Shahjahanpur recorded a significant drop of 1,06,061 voters. Other constituencies like Nagina, Asmoli, Gangoh, Naugawan Sadat, Kairana, and Thakurdwara also saw thousands of voters removed from the final rolls, marking a significant update in these politically sensitive regions.
